Chopsticks was written for piano in 1877 with a title that came from a performance suggestion from the composer. 'Play both hands turned sideways, so that the movement of the hands imitates the chopping from which this waltz gets its name'. Now it's arranged here with the title, Fun With Chopsticks, for a handbell quartet by John Behnke. The arrangement takes you on a fun musical journey where the melody is played both high and low, in a minor key, with mallets, and with a fun, surprise ending. It's sure to delight the listeners and the ringers alike.
